As NBA story lines have been based around Kobe’s injuries and talks of him possibly retiring earlier than we all expected, he came right back out and showed everyone why he’s not going anywhere any time soon. Kobe finished the night in LA with 48 points on 18-for-31 shooting from the field. Add that on top of 11-12 shooting from the free throw line and Mr. Bryant made a little NBA history becoming the first player to score that many points in a season with 16 or more years of experience.
That’s right folks! The young athletic freak of nature with the mini ‘fro who came straight out of high school is now 16 years removed from his rookie season in 1995-96 and still doin’ work.
